When Ramilda Solsworn ascended to the gods after inflicting Aghosth a terrible wound, it should have been the end of her hardships.
But when she stood before the golden gates of the Dawn Queen, the gates refused to open. The heavenly soldiers were as puzzled as the slain empress of Ethernight. Shortly thereafter, the ground beneath her vanished and she fell down towards Magnifide.
When she landed silently, everything turned black.
"Hello, my beauty. The sun is up, time to rise."
Ramilda stood before a mirror when she woke up. Her whole body was but a shade, the world around her felt empty. An aged man in a dark violet robe stood next to her, smiling.
"Ah, Stymire. It is good to have you back at my side. My beautiful wife I've lost too early."
Stymire. The shade in the mirror nooded. Why did the shade identify herself with the name "Ramilda" in the first place? The name was void of meaning. But Stymire, now that sounds familiar.
"Don't worry, soon you'll return into your body too, once it has returned to your former beauty and health."
Shortly after that, demons destroyed the house and the aged man in a dark violet robe died at their hands. Stymire, on the other hand, just walked away.
She was drawn to a bridge which was besieged by mortals and other demons.
Stymire decided to fight for the mortals, but she can't recall the reason why. It just felt right for her.
